About Speaker

James Fontanella-Khan was appointed the Financial Times' US Corporate Finance and Deals Editor in February 2018. He was previously US M&A correspondent at the FT. Prior to that, he worked on Lex and as a correspondent in Brussels, New Delhi and Mumbai. He started his career at the FT in London on the news desk in 2005. He graduated from Sciences Po, Paris. Along with Arash Massoudi, Mr Fontanella-Khan is the co-creator of the FT’s premium deals briefing called Due Diligence.
