  He starts his working path, following marketing and communication activities, in the largest NGO in the world dedicated to economic-entrepreneurial education in schools, where he could deepen his knowledge of Italian and European policies on education, entrepreneurial and digital education and on the implementation of CSR projects in education with important multinational companies. At the beginning of 2019 he joins illimity Bank, the high-tech banking group listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, following, since the birth of the Bank, the Group’s sustainability activities and strategies, in collaboration with the different Divisions and Corporate Departments and coordinating the initiatives aimed at increasing knowledge on ESG issues throughout the organization.

  Elena has a degree in Political Economy from Bocconi University and a career entirely spent in the world of infrastructure and energy, from investment banking to private equity.
  She has worked both in Italy and abroad on numerous structured finance transactions, passing through Unicredit, IntesaSanpalo and BBVA, to then dedicate herself to the equity world, where she successfully dealt with the investment path of VEI Green, concluded in 2018 with the sale of the ForVEI portfolio to ERG SpA.

  Since the deregulation of the electricity market, passing through the boom of renewable sources and the most recent trend of energy efficiency, she has gained experience across the technical and regulatory aspects, as well as financial, and a personal vision on the potential of energy that brought her to illimity. Here she takes care of the industry at 360°, with the challenging goal of bringing the deep knowledge of the industry and the associated risk to the management of distressed credits, real estate assets valorization and market parity financing.

  Nicola works in the Strategy, Sustainability & Investor Relations Department at illimity Bank, where he is responsible for managing and monitoring the Group’s sustainability projects, particularly on sustainable finance issues.

  In illimity since 2018, he has held several roles including Head of PMO.

  Previously, as a Manager in Deloitte, he managed consulting projects in IT, governance and M&A at major Italian financial institutions. Passionate about technology and innovation, for 10 years he held IT responsibility positions at public and international entities, as well as being equity partner of a startup accelerator.

  Paolo Piovini

  Head of Business Operations & Credit Support, illimity Bank

  Graduated in Economics at the University of Genoa, he began his professional career in Banca Carige, dealing mainly with credit and Risk Management. After 15 years in the banking world, he moved to the consulting sector, coordinating projects related to credit processes, AQR and controls, also taking care of the due diligence of some credit portfolios in the context of bank acquisitions. In illimity since 2018, Paolo works in the Growth Credit Division and is responsible for operational and business support activities.
